Watch out for the group. Not yet!

We ordered 3 different colors of the same watch for our 3 boys. They love the observer. Great find. The same ratings are given for all color options, but not all have the same stripe. The descriptions on some watches do not specify the strap. We got 2 with the velcro strap we wanted, the other watches have the nylon buckle strap. Very confusing and made Christmas a bit complicated. We'll come back now if we can guarantee to get velcro. Raven could do better.

Conflict for Accessories

My son wanted to wear a watch anytime, anywhere. I gave it to him and it didn't surprise me. What surprised me was that some kind of severe bacterial infection had grown on his hand, causing him to have this big, rough scab on his wrist that went away after a few months. I blame half of it on my son trying to hide it and half on the watch. Well I guess I can't blame the watch too much because that's to be expected when a kid wears the watch everywhere and it or his hand doesn't get dry. Still…

Disappointing battery life, worse warranty.

I once had a Timex watch and loved it. It had everything I needed, it was accurate, waterproof and the battery lasted 6 years. My eldest is now 8 years old so I was very happy to give him this watch as he is very mature and really needs to know the time. He was very excited and loved this watch. Unfortunately, within about 2 months, the signs of a weak battery showed up and the watch lost power after about a month. To my surprise I found out that there was no guarantee for this terrible battery

Run and run, run and run

For almost 20 years I've had nothing but Expeditions. I remember the first being Aqua and I was almost panicking about getting a replacement when it just became too inoperable because I was wearing it all the time - to bed - in the shower - kayaking - working in the garden - whatever, it was with me. In this image, the clock on the left has been replaced with the clock on the right. Hard to believe that the old man is almost 10 years old, fell down with a battery change and several trips to the

My son loves this watch. We looked and looked and finally settled on this Timex Expedition Mid-Size - it was a perfect fit for our 10 year old son. We went through a few iterations of the "kids" watches and they just didn't last long. This watch has endured swimming, basketball, baseball, and more without a single scratch. This beautiful watch is not too big for my son or wife who sometimes takes it with her. A "grown-up" watch, unlike the kids' watches we've tried in the past - Easy to read…

Excellent watch - better than I expected. But I'm giving this order 1 star simply because I'm really pissed that the "18mm bandwidth" spec listed on the Revain site misled me and I spent over two hours refinishing the metal. An 18mm extender strap which I bought as an intended replacement for the fabric strap that came with this watch from the factory. View a copy of the listed Revain specs with bandwidth circled in red. I have no idea if the spec was "18mm" data provided to Revain by Timex, or

Velcro comes off in water, NOT FOR SURFING

I used to have a Timex Expedition watch that I bought at least 3 years ago, the battery ended up dead and some parts got lost when I took it apart so I had to buy a new one. Wanted to go with the same brand again as I was very happy with my previous watch. It's not what I had before, but similar. The biggest difference is that the face is smaller and the stripe is smaller. Could this really be a children's watch? I have small wrists for my size and they were a bit tight. The problem that…

Great watch but the strap is too tight for a medium sized woman's wrist.

I read the reviews before purchasing and noticed that many reviewers note the small size of the watch. I bought it anyway because I have a small to medium sized wrist. I ended up giving it to a family member because it was too small for me. If one wanted to wear the watch looser than intended, then most of the visible part of the strap would be the gray part of the velcro strap and only a small part of the beautiful grosgrain strap would be visible. It could have been worn that way, but the…

Good basic women's digital watch

So this is a great watch for women with small to medium wrists. Here is my list of pros and cons: Pros: - Very easy to install. There are NO instructions in the leaflet. This is my first Timex Expedition watch so I had no experience with it. All you have to do is click Install and use the Start and Stop buttons to move up and down through the settings, respectively. Easy enough! - I like the simplicity of the watch. It's simple and easy to read. - It has a day of the week, a month and a date. I
