Review on 🌲 Timex x Mossy Oak Expedition Digital Chrono Alarm Timer 33mm Watch: Ultimate Outdoor Timepiece by Mike Hernandez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The specification posted on the Revain page is misleading if not outright wrong.

Excellent watch - better than I expected. But I'm giving this order 1 star simply because I'm really pissed that the "18mm bandwidth" spec listed on the Revain site misled me and I spent over two hours refinishing the metal. An 18mm extender strap which I bought as an intended replacement for the fabric strap that came with this watch from the factory. View a copy of the listed Revain specs with bandwidth circled in red. I have no idea if the spec was "18mm" data provided to Revain by Timex, or if whoever created the Revain webpage made a typo. However, the actual physical size of the watch to attach the strap to this watch is "16mm". I had to grind 1mm of metal from each of the 4 mounting edges of my metal watch strap in order for my 18mm band to fit a 16mm watch. Now maybe Timex (or Revain) will say that 18mm is the actual width. wrist tissue. But then Timex (and Revain) must at least offer the buyer an accurate measurement of the size of the pair (in the case of this watch: 16mm) so that the buyer can replace the factory strap with a separate watch strap. Buyer's choice. The specs you write have consequences, folks.
