I found that there is a metal smell from my jewelry when it was sealed closed. So I choose to keep it slightly opened to avoid the odor. I also found that the earring holders bars on the inside door are too thick for my earrings. The bar with the cutouts is a little thick to hang my earring hooks over although I'm able to stretch the earring hooks over it. There are little holes in the bar that would be good for the post type earrings but I am not able to get my hand behind to get the backs on to hold the earrings on the bar. Tweeking those things would make this a perfect jewelry closet. I love the mirror the light the size, but I constantly think of a way to make it better for my earrings the bulk of my collection.
