After assembling the digitizer, I found that the home button that came pre-assembled with this replacement digitizer didn't work. I managed to get around this by ripping the original home button from the cracked digitizer (with ribbon cable). However, I've had some experience repairing broken iPhone screens, and I'm not sure the average consumer can do this without damaging the home button ribbon cable when removing it from a cracked digitizer. Also, I found it very difficult to remove the self-adhesive films before closing the digitizer. The quality of the adhesive itself is also questionable, and the assembled display doesn't appear to be 100% sealed. However, I give it 2 passes because the rest of the install went fine, the digitizer size was good, and the overall digitizer quality is decent.
