Review on 🔒 La-Co-11775 LA-CO Plasto-Joint Stik: 1-1/4 oz Plastic Thread Sealant Stick, 250°F Temperature Resistance by James Wiley

Used to fix the threaded outlet on a pool pump tube that has been leaking for years. Tried regular pipe thread sealant as well as teflon tape, both leaked after a few weeks. Half expected it to be just as bad, but for a few months everything has been working and there are no leaks. The instructions say they should only apply to external streams, but I've had so many leaks that I've added them to internal streams as well. This stuff is very sticky, which is probably why it works so well. 4 month update: my pump broke (21 year old pump), this sealant was still soft, very sticky and still sealing well when I took the tubes apart. I applied new sealant and reconnected the pipes to the new pump, again there is no leak. I love this stuff!
