Review on MedSpec DynaTrack Patella Stabilizer Medium by Jason Peterson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

High quality medical device

I have bought four of these braces in the last 20 months. I'm not a doctor, so if you have knee pain, see an orthopedist. My doctor informed me that my inflamed and painful knee condition was due to patella femoral syndrome. I play a lot of tennis and the pain was so bad I couldn't sit down. This brace (much cheaper from Revain than the doctor's) that I wear regularly when playing tennis reduced pain and swelling almost to the point of disappearance. I was even able to crouch in the catcher position to practice throwing with my son, which I never thought possible. This is a high quality brace with articulated plastic supports on either side of the knee, a strong C-shaped pad that presses against the patella to keep it level, and a Velcro strap for endless adjustment. It wraps around your foot so you can put your shoes on before you put them on. I play tennis with him for hours, he is very comfortable and does not limit mobility. I have two in a row so one is always available when the other is deleted. My first pair lasted about 18+ months under heavy use. The neoprene straps that make up the final wrap have started to stretch and wear out. The newer spares seem more solid in this regard, but maybe that's because they haven't been used and therefore haven't been stretched. This is a great bracket that is worth every penny. It literally saved my knee!
