Suitable for Patella Stabilization

This is exactly the same brace my podiatrist prescribed for my patellar tilt but is worth 1/3 the price the doctor charges for it. It's not a miracle, but it helps.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Almost OK

It was recommended to me

Finally. I found an orthosis that I feel like a crutch with my unstable kneecap. It wasn't expensive at all, but double the price of the one I bought. It's worth it. This was my 5th mount I've bought in a year. I based it on higher ratings and a lower price. It was recommended to me and it was just what I needed.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Nice patella stabilizer

The Medspec clamp is great for stabilizing the patella. I have weak quadriceps and a severe crunch under the patella. The brace helps support the kneecap so I can continue walking and running without the pain I have without the brace. It's easy to install and reconfigure. I love that it's open at the back so I can bend my knee a lot. Normally I have to adjust the orthosis when warming up. I don't find it slipping down my leg during my activities. It costs money.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons

Support where you need it

This is my second brace. The first was recommended to me by a physical therapist. It gave my left knee some much needed support while playing tennis for about 2 years. The cheaper ACE bracket didn't help. When he returned to tennis after a year-long injury break, his right knee hurt. I bought this bandage for my right knee. However, the right knee continued to hurt when climbing stairs. I found the ACE brace provided the required support for the stairs. I now use this brace over my right knee…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Functionality

The BEST of my 10+ other knee pads!

Good! I've been playing hard tennis on court for almost 50 years and that combined with my pretty bow legs has resulted in Patellofemoral Dislocation Syndrome, Patellar Chondromalacia, Crepitus and Arthritis which equals pain! I bandage my knees EVERY DAY with the McConnell Method to reduce pain and swelling. EVERY DAY unless I plan to stay home all day. Taping helps a lot with pain and swelling. But one problem is that the leukotape comes off when I play and sweat. I have a bag full of braces.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Obsolete model

High quality medical device

I have bought four of these braces in the last 20 months. I'm not a doctor, so if you have knee pain, see an orthopedist. My doctor informed me that my inflamed and painful knee condition was due to patella femoral syndrome. I play a lot of tennis and the pain was so bad I couldn't sit down. This brace (much cheaper from Revain than the doctor's) that I wear regularly when playing tennis reduced pain and swelling almost to the point of disappearance. I was even able to crouch in the catcher…

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • No automatic

Best knee brace I've ever had

I first sprained my knee when I was 13 and it's only gotten worse since (I'm 39 now). I've used MANY braces over the years to try and stabilize the joint. It was first prescribed to me after ligament reconstruction 4 years ago. Pros: It's the only one I've ever used that offers adequate stability. It has a low profile and can also be tightened to keep it from falling off while walking/exercising. Bonus, it's low enough that it's not very noticeable at work when I'm wearing knee-length…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not bad
