Best knee brace I've ever had

I first sprained my knee when I was 13 and it's only gotten worse since (I'm 39 now). I've used MANY braces over the years to try and stabilize the joint. It was first prescribed to me after ligament reconstruction 4 years ago. Pros: It's the only one I've ever used that offers adequate stability. It has a low profile and can also be tightened to keep it from falling off while walking/exercising. Bonus, it's low enough that it's not very noticeable at work when I'm wearing knee-length dresses/skirts, and it goes with most of my pants/jeans, although if someone really looks they can tell what I'm wearing . his. Under. The only downside is if you wear OVER stuff, be careful with the velcro and make sure you don't have an open bottom of the velcro. I have ruined several tights and tights and the knee area of the leggings is swollen or rolled down due to the velcro rubbing against it. My podiatrist recently prescribed me new braces because they were wearing out and he switched to a new cuff. product type. I tried it for a few weeks and then bought a new one because it was so much better. I wear it every day, and while it allows me to delay the full replacement I need, I'm 15 years too young for that. I train in it and wear it for lounging, gardening and other heavy everyday activities with ease. It's easy to clean and I have no problem kayaking when it's wet.

  • Sturdy construction
Cons
