I bought these shoes to replace the Peloton cycling shoes I got when I bought the bike a year ago. I usually wear 8.5 inch shoes and ordered the same size. I wear a size 40 in Peloton and honestly feel they are tight. These shoes run one size larger. I actually find them more comfortable with more room in the toe box. I'm giving 4 stars because when attaching the clamps, one screw in each set failed to tighten in the spigot. I was able to use 2 bolts from my old spikes and they worked great but if I didn't have them it would be problematic. As far as riding them, they close just like my Peloton shoes and I actually find them more comfortable to ride. I had to play around with the velcro straps to make sure they were tight enough, but now I've figured it out. I would definitely buy them again or recommend them, especially for the price and with a few clips.
