Review on European Candelabra Reducer by Westinghouse 22402 by Pavel Craig

My girlfriend recently inherited a chandelier and lamp from Germany that uses European candle lamps. They have a 14mm (E14) base, while the American "candelabra" has a 12mm (E12) base. After a little research I came across these reducers. Either that, or buy special lamps, which are expensive and not always commercially available. The gearbox worked great! We quickly got the chandelier and lamp installed and up and running. I also wanted to provide some sizes of adapters in case there is any doubt that they will fit your particular lamp socket. I noticed that one of the reviewers said their adapter was 1/8 inch shorter. As I mentioned above, the diameter of the base is 14mm (about 9/16 inch). The length of the base (including the small "spike" below) is 23 mm (approx. 7/8"). Excluding the spike, the length of the base is 17 mm (approx. 11/16").
