Review on 🌲 St James of London Cedarwood & Clarysage Cologne: 1.69 oz – Unique Fragrance for Men by Christa Baldwin

Cedar and Clarysage by St James of London is probably my favorite scent of all time. This is definitely my favorite everyday perfume and I like it a lot more than black pepper. This is interesting in that it smells like mosquito repellent at first, but then quickly turns into the best thing your nose has ever seen. I work with several attractive women and many of them have pressed their noses to me while wearing this and tell me how good I smell. I have a personal theory about scents that they don't actually make you smell that much better; Rather, they should awaken thoughts and memories of the exciting contexts in which one finds oneself. Sort of like the idea that almost every man looks more attractive driving a $500,000 Ferrari. This fragrance makes it possible. It is reminiscent of beautiful old universities with well-tended gardens in bloom. Or perhaps take a romantic mountain trail through a pristine forest, followed by a glass of wine by the fire. It feels masculine and sophisticated, not imperious but more subtle and alive. Pleasant, discreet, bold, powerful of course, but by no means uncomfortable. Suitable for both formal and casual wear.
