Not suitable for storing spices. These cheap plastic containers might get good reviews from people who use them for crafts or for storing glitter and the like, but these containers aren't great for storing salt, pepper, or dried spices. The lids do not seal well and are NOT moisture resistant, so be aware that storing them outside alongside a BBQ grill or flat skillet will spoil your dry spices. Even if you store your spices in it, the lids don't close tightly. So if you accidentally dump one over the counter, be prepared to clean up. The lid's thin plastic hinge breaks easily, and if it does break, the top is unusable. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Buy a better, larger container.
