The bag is made of thick, durable canvas. Handles are sewn around the entire perimeter of the bag. I rarely write reviews because the product rarely impresses me. I am delighted with this bag. I can see it holding up to everyday use. The haircut is also very good. It doesn't look like the seams have come undone. It also looks like the interior has been finished in such a way that the material doesn't wear out and cause separation that way. I recently bought another bag that looked similar to this one. It was rubbish. So weak it was useless! This one lasted 2 months and was more expensive than this one. I will update this review after a few months of use.
