Review on Bose SoundLink Bluetooth Wireless Speaker - Nylon (Old Model): Enhanced Audio Experience on-the-go by Cam Vi ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend it.

Sound for an amateur. Not everyone will like it. He is "Fenechny" i. E. colored and shifted to low frequencies. Fans of studio smooth sound will not work. But for those who in childhood used to listen to the RIGONDA or LUX radiogram, elderly people and lovers of fat basses will most likely like the sound very much. I listened to Rigonde and the Festival as a child and the column reminded me of them. The sound is towards low frequencies, and there are problems with low frequencies - depending on the location of the speaker in the room, the sound changes from position, from hum to dips in low frequencies. Although, I don’t understand at all how, with such a size, they, _such_ "Rigonde" and "festival" low frequencies, sound from it at all! By the way, if you drive a generator - it sounds exactly. It's an electronic tuning system - the electronics control the speakers. It is difficult to overload them and they change the sound (frequency response) depending on the volume level. The sound is generally pleasant and with little distortion. You can listen to it quietly for days. I got the Malaysian assembly. They say they sound slightly different from Mexican. Love the sound like old receivers or TV RAINBOW 716 - then you will like it. The speaker sounds different depending on its position in the room. Just a couple of centimeters affect the sound. The sound also depends on the room itself. On the street, in nature, the sound is better, the frequency response is evened out. Bluetooth holds confidently, but it is clearly outdated, not higher than 3.0, tk. You can connect only one device at a time, the speaker remembers 6 devices in total. The loudspeaker is made with high quality and really inspires with sound. The further the more. You quickly get used to good things. Most likely, in 20 years, when its price is forgotten, they will say something like "- They knew how before." And the fact that its "book" form is very convenient and you can carry it with you makes it, I think, a very practical thing for a long time.

Pros
  • The sound is unobtrusive, shifted towards the bass. Full-fledged coloring in the MF-LF range with a resonance in the region of 70 Hz. The sound is tight. Not annoying. Bass output is amazing at this size. The column works confidently with all phones and laptops around the apartment. It looks nice in the style of an expensive German transistor radio from the 1970s-1980s. It does not attract attention, but it gives style to everything where it stands. It sounds 10 times larger than it has dimensions and at the same time it is also very harmonious. I am completely satisfied both as a beautiful and strict thing and as a mobile speaker with surprisingly great sound and up to 7 hours of work on BT (read below!)
Cons
  • A strange thing in terms of characteristics, which by the way are not described anywhere, they simply are not in the description. The BT version, outdated for 2022-2022, is either 2 or 3 maximum. No adjustments. For example There is no way to remove the excess bass. When I quietly listen to something with drums on it, the neighbors start banging on the wall. In the area of the HF range "cushion" - the highs are muffled, the stereo base is small. There is no hands-free phone support. The column is heavy - one and a half kilos of bricks. The overpriced price of a cool manufacturer - although it is clear that geniuses and responsible specialists worked on it. About 14 hours of work declared in advertising - a lie. At medium volume, barely 7 hours comes out. Although I may have come across a bad ACC, it most likely eats a Bluetooth receiver and a DAC, but the AUX speaker will most likely play for 14 hours. And by the way, on AUX with a good wire from a good source, the speaker sounds better.

Its pros: Great sound for a portable speaker, but! Only outdoors or in a large room. Otherwise, the bass will drown out all other frequencies. Some cons: Charger. Your own with unusual tension.
