Good trail crampons

Trail crampons are good. I haven't been able to test them on ice and hard snow as we're not in the season yet, usually late winter and spring. But in most aspects they aren't much better than my other pairs of walking cats. I prefer these types of crampons to micro spikes or loose cables wrapped around wire for navigating icy trails, especially significant vertical ascent. The glasses give a much better grip overall. Even when worn they still provide excellent traction while others either fail or are only marginally secure in their grip. I wear out my lugs until they're just round bulges (this takes about 500 miles on rocky trails!) and they still offer decent traction. and ice under the boot in warm conditions on firm or loose snow. I can't test how well these trail cats get rid of this plaque. Since some of the spikes on the disc are directly opposite each other, this can be a problem. These spikes are shorter (about 3/4 the length) than the standard trail crampons I usually use new. However, I wear them much shorter than the length of these dots. I like these moments. The sock has a standard brace and goes well with the boot. The plates are in the right position on the bottom of the shoe and are good for hiking. I expect these cats to serve you well!

Pros
  • Stronger and safer spikes for shoes
Cons
  • Cleanliness
