basically bought this deep fryer hoping to come up with a recipe for a healthier way to cook something. After trying it for fish and chips I was very disappointed, the fish was drier than I expected and the outside wasn't browned well. It was crispy but still looked raw, but you can't cook any longer as it will partially burn. Works well as a toaster, I thought it also had convection but didn't find such an option on the controller. The inside is smaller than my toaster so I can't say the fryer was worth the space lost. I use my toaster more than an oven or microwave on a daily basis. We'll try to set it up for a couple of weeks and if not we'll be returning this product.
