Review on Versatile Metal Cleaning Towel - The Ultimate Miracle Cloth for All-Purpose Use by Jen Rose

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Soaked in oil and chemicals but it worked. Like, like, something like.

I saw them advertised at a trade show so I went straight to Revain to buy one for a set of brass basins that we want to keep shiny and new. Unfortunately, although the mold smells good of coconut, the cleaning power seems to come from a very strong chemical being applied to the fabric. Smells just like WD40. Fabrics also leave a heavy oily residue on anything they come into contact with. It says to simply buff the item after using the cloth, but it was so oily we polished the plate and then washed it with soap and hot water to remove the oil. They didn't work for our brass cymbals. Instead, the chemical removed the glossy coating from the panel, leaving it matte. To be fair, the cloth cleaned stainless steel tools very well, as did my wedding ring. Just not copper plated. The seller was quick, the price was right and the packaging was good, hence 5 stars. But the product was quite disappointing hence 3 stars. Average up to 4 stars in my book.
