The band is quite bright for its tiny size and can be charged with a USB cable. We put it in our closet and replaced the big round battery operated "push" lamp. (To work: you press the plastic part of the light and it lights up, although battery life was very short so it rarely worked.) This motion-sensitive light bar lights up when you enter a small fitting room and turns off after 10 seconds . . Sometimes it doesn't turn on right away, so I wave my hand in the air until motion is detected and the light comes on. I move quickly to find what I want and exit the closet before it turns off or wave my hand again to turn it back on, then finish my task and leave. As long as it works well and does its job.
