bad support/connection problems

Bought in August, only unpacked or installed at the end of September/beginning of October. A few days after installation, my PC, phone and iPad couldn't see the printer. I disconnected and reconnected and it was detected again on my wireless system. A few days later just as thin. I called Brother Support on 10/25. He took me through some settings on my PC and reconfigured the printer for my wireless system, everything is fine, I asked him if these fixes would stay, he said yes. A week later it's working fine, I ask why is this happening, they forwarded it to their software group and said they would call me back. No call. The problem recurs, call support on 11/29. I patiently go through the setup again but told them it was the last time. I told them about my previous calls and that these corrections do NOT stick. No communication with printer AGAIN, call support on December 3rd. I went through the same procedure and told her I wanted to return the defective unit. She said if this happens again I will have to disconnect and reconnect the device. I told her this was totally unacceptable and that I would like to speak to the manager about returning this unit. She put me on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up. They did not call back and verified my phone number. This call lasted a little over an hour! Stay away from this model and possibly other supporting models!
