Charger appears to be of good quality. I like that it has an automatic winter mode, as well as the ability to manually switch between 12V 4A and 12V 2A charging modes. The device is not waterproof, probably because it has a fan cooling grille on the bottom. I also like that this device comes with some warranty. Unlike other "nameless" chargers that don't even provide company or contact information. What puts me off are voltage values that differ by at least 1 volt. While charging it reads 14.4v on my 12v battery but two other gauges I tested on the same battery show between 12.8v and 12.9v. I want this charger to please , but that's against the terms of the contract.
