🐶 Folkmanis Basset Hound Hand Puppet - Authentic and Lifelike Playmate for Kids and Adults Review

I just fell in love with this adorable Basset Hound doll. It's so easy to hold, it's so soft. His eyes are beautiful and when he opens his mouth his tongue is ready to lick your face. Its ears are long and hanging. It's just perfect for library and classroom shows. Children love to pet it.

Dolls offer a wide range of interactions with young people. My granddaughter (4 of 20) seemed old enough to play with dolls so I chose the best company I know and she and I chose a dog to start with. You and I were not disappointed and have already added a Folkmanis dragon puppet.

Ordered this for my young son. He likes the one my librarian has. The one in the picture has small black eyes, this one has huge cartoon eyes. The face is flattened, as if there is not enough filling. Looks like the whole face was stitched wrong. I'm sad because it's a Christmas present and tomorrow is Christmas Eve. Not sure if to keep or return but not very happy with the quality of this $32 puppet.

I would love this cute doll if it wasn't for those confused eyes. It's soft so his face can be easily manipulated to create expressions. I saw other reviews complaining about uneven eyes, but I took a chance and ordered it anyway because it's so charming. I didn't give a 5 star rating because eyes are very important for a doll if you want to dress young children. I might add a large hair bow or cap to the side to make the defect less visible.

I really wanted to get this doll for my daughter's birthday and the 5 star rating didn't make me think twice about ordering it.
