Review on 🐶 Folkmanis Basset Hound Hand Puppet - Authentic and Lifelike Playmate for Kids and Adults by Phil Show

Our youngest daughter asked Santa for a basset hound doll for Christmas; At the beginning of the year we had to give up our basset. This doll is amazing, possibly the best doll we've ever had! He's incredibly soft, which isn't always the case with Volkmanis (or other) dolls, which is so disappointing when they're otherwise incredibly cute. This one almost looks like the stupid soft fur on our basset hound's chest. Like most Folkmanis dolls, she is very cute, well constructed and realistic. Our daughter (4 years old) can control her mouth, not her legs (it needs big hands). Basically you have to choose between controlling your mouth or your legs as they are too far apart to control at the same time. Best of all, this doll also makes an awesome stuffed animal, which is really not often found in great dolls. Very nice and soft and can stand on its own; Daughter loves to take him for "walks" on a leash. Our eldest daughter (12 years old) is so thrilled she is wanting one for herself next Christmas. Highly recommended!
