A ZTE WF-721 has served my 30 year old landline number for the last five years; its 3G signal strength was always five out of five LED bars. In June 2021, the FCC banned ZTE devices from US networks. AT&T recently replaced them with 4G/LTE Netcomm XIA-IFWA-40. Three of the four LED strips were the best it could show, sometimes falling to two as I walked around the kitchen. The only way to get four strips is to lean them against the kitchen window. There is no other place I could move it. After connecting two Bingfu antennas I was able to get stable three strips and it doesn't seem to matter where I placed the antennas. But when I moved the antennas, I temporarily put one on the microwave and. four stable poles! Also, I only need one antenna. Turning the oven on or off does not affect signal strength or communication quality. Anyone familiar with the radio signals in these cell phone plans will understand why this antenna placement situation is not uncommon. The antenna is in front of a cupboard that is used occasionally, so I only have to fold it to the side every now and then to open the door. I marked it with orange tape as a reminder. The lack of a cap on one of the antennas was disappointing. And no, it's not in the package. Not very good quality control. It's not worth the time or effort to cash out.
