The adage 'you get what you pay for' applies to this excellent adapter. It's a little more expensive than the cheapest models, but built a lot better. I bought one from another supplier to fit an 800mm T-mount Rokinon SLR lens. The cheap T-adapter I originally bought attached well to the lens, but it didn't attach firmly to the Nikon. The small slot where Nikon inserted the index pin was made just a few thousandths too wide. This allowed the lens to move noticeably when the focus ring was rotated. Very annoying. This UltraPro is perfect for Nikon bodies. It's more accurate. Very satisfied. One thing about these mounts is that regular 'old' Nikon rear lens caps cannot be tightened properly. The cap can easily come off. The cap of the new LF-4 model has a small lip that increases the diameter of the cap by a few millimeters and ensures a tight fit.
