Review on 📷 LOFICO Outdoor Camera 360°PTZ: Solar Powered 1080P Security Camera with Night Vision, 2-Way Audio, and Motion Detection by Matt Davis

Bought to try the wi-fi camera. I live in a fairly large area and our mailbox is quite a distance from home. I wanted to set up a camera at the gate. I have wi-fi extenders throughout the house but didn't realize it would reach our mailbox at the gate which is over 50 feet from the house. I bought this camera to see how it works and watched the entrance to our gate. Because of the wide angle lens, the view of the entire driveway (5 cars wide) was excellent, but we couldn't see our gate (couldn't see if anyone was there). I tried to put a camera behind the gate by the mailbox and to my surprise the WiFi worked (not great with my phone). I put a camera outside and we have a great view of the driveway to our house (100 meters) and we can see if anyone is at the gate. Resolution is good when something is close, but falls off when the subject is farther away due to the wide-angle lens (Handels). Night vision works very well. The app is easy to use and set up. Features I like are solar charging, camera remote control, motion detection alarms and the fact that it's supposed to be waterproof. I had a little hesitation installing the device outdoors, but the company says it's a weatherproofing feature. I live in Hawaii where we don't have to worry about the cold, but I live in an area where it rains all the time in the mountains. Sign out as the camera will withstand the rain. Overall my first impressions are very positive and I would consider buying a different camera. Ideal for areas with no AC power (although it does have a USB socket for power).
