I've been using it for about ten days now. On a hot day in a 400 square meter. Feet held a temperature of around 72-74 degrees. It took about 2-3 hours to cool down as the space is very open. Installation took about 30 minutes. The instructions are a bit unclear when it comes to setting up the pane, but with a little study you can figure it out. It's big and bulky, but I've moved it back and forth between rooms without much trouble. I wouldn't recommend doing this often as it's quite inconvenient. If I had a second plastic window piece that I could just leave in two different windows, I'd probably move it more often. The hose pulls a lot of heat out of the window. This will get the hose a bit warm, so I'm considering buying insulation to wrap around it so less heat stays in the room through the outlet hose. I don't think the noise level is that bad. You certainly hear it when the compressor kicks in, but I still find it a little quieter than the box fan I used to run in my window. Generally very satisfied so far. Really makes a big difference to my comfort level.
