Didn't work on 2015 Hyundai Sonata

I called a locksmith to cut and program this key along with the other two keys I got for my F350. The F350 keys are easy to cut and program. This Sonata key was cut and worked in the ignition but the remote control functions did not work. The locksmith used the right tools etc. for the programming. He said the key was "locked" and I need another one.
