I use this for recording, class or zoom meetings. The clip that holds the iPad is great. Then it is attached to the stand. This notch and sliding needs to be carefully monitored as you do NOT want it to fit a certain way (upside down if you will) as the iPad clip on will fall off. As long as it sits in the bracket at the right angle, everything is fine. However, be careful. But for the remote control? I will take it. I don't have any other threaded tripod so this was the next best (and good) thing.
