You can control the typing speed in the settings if you need to slow it down for some reason, but we think it works well the way it is. The print quality is also good. Not ideal on its own, but quite suitable for typical shipping labels. Printing large texts on this printer is absolutely reliable. Only if you start printing extravagant designs or lots of interesting text, barcodes and other things that are not 100% high quality. However, it's 85-90%, which is still great. In terms of what it's made for, it delivers what's needed and more. However, it helps to get full density (why not, it's a thermal printer, so you don't use ink). Not a bad thermal printer if you're looking for heavy workloads with fast printing. Setup didn't take long. It behaves like a regular printer and has no software for it other than the drivers (which they include on a small USB stick). So just print the 4x6 labels with something like MS Word, select that as your printer and it seems to work fine. Only a few labels are included to test, so you'll need to buy a batch of labels to begin with.
