See when I saw the heading "14G Stainless Steel" I thought it was actually sterile stainless steel. clearly not the product you are talking about. I don't break stainless steel, but when I inserted one of these (after soaking in hydrogen peroxide) it caused the skin around the area to become inflamed and rot (I mean pus and sores, nasty). I've also tried the product many times hoping I'm wrong, but it always broke me. It must be an alloy. Knowing that every decent online shopper wants transparency in their product, I recommend you stay away from these types of products as they just aren't worth the hype if you break through like that.
