Review on International Concepts BJ6TD Mission Unfinished by Amy Smith

I have an International Concepts International Concepts 647 Mission Printer Stand, unfinished and two International Concepts BJ6TD Mission High End Tables, unfinished, both Raven. I am writing the same review for two different items (same company) because I was hesitant about what to order and other potential buyers may be doing the same so you can discuss both. First I ordered a printer stand. and was very happy with it so I ordered two bedside tables/bedside tables. One bedside table/end table matched well and the other *didn't match at all*. It came with two left sides so the drawer and another part can't fit inside. The nightstands/end tables were drilled a bit more sloppily than the printer stand, and the 1/8" plywood for the back was slightly damaged. The printer stand is a simpler piece of furniture. You may want to pre-drill the shelf screws on the printer stand after you've assembled everything, or you can probably do without the screws on the center shelf of the printer stand if you won't be moving it or moving items on it. This helps loosen those things up before tightening everything up. Reading all the reviews helps, especially if you plan on getting these things dirty (some areas may have adhesive that doesn't pick up the stain as much as the rest of the pieces). tree or none at all. I've used Minwax polishing wax on the horizontal surfaces and watco Danish Oil on the rest and it's looking pretty good. I plan to do the same for another article. These items are made from solid Rubberwood/Parawood. It is a relatively hard, very light wood. Has a variable grain. Sometimes the grain has a gray-ashy color. I hope you know what it looks like before you buy it. They are pretty heavy and durable. Obviously they are cheap for solid wood furniture so don't expect high quality. Also, there is a potential problem with spotting (see other reviews). Had I not received the wrong items I would have rated the nightstands higher. I have considered ordering other items from International Concepts but I am concerned that I will be sent back the wrong parts with the heavy item.
