Bigger isn't always better, and this Mini PC is a great example. I had a full size tower that served as my main computer and HTPC in my living room and it was a very good replacement. It has a small footprint with great power. I don't need this huge car on the floor anymore. I sometimes install the system in my daughter's room for movie nights. Children like to just sit or lie on the bed and just pass out afterwards. It's a very quick setup and everything fits perfectly on her dresser. With an AMD Ryzen 5 3550H processor, you get 4 cores and 8 logical processors with a base frequency of 2.10 GHz, boosted up to 3.7 GHz when needed. without modifications. It is very convenient for me when playing games and editing videos/images. 8GB of DDR4 RAM is sufficient, but I can add 8GB more later. It can support up to 64GB, which can be easily expanded at any time. With a 256GB SSD, Windows 10 Pro installs in seconds. The 1 TB hard drive is suitable for data such as documents, music, pictures and videos, but the storage capacity can also be expanded either via expansion slots or an external drive. I really like the 6 USB 3.0 ports, especially since I have a couple of printers and external drives. Two connectors on the front make it easy to connect flash drives or smartphones. There was definitely no loss as this device had much slower USB 2.0 ports. A fingerprint reader is always nice to have. It was very easy to set up and I got into it quickly. It can also be set up for multiple users, which is great for other family members. The two built-in microphones will be good enough for Cortana, but a headset is better for online meetings or gaming. As for the heat dissipation, I was actually pleasantly surprised. With 3 heat pipes, 2 fans and a magnesium-aluminum alloy chassis, the device remained relatively cool even after several hours of gaming. Of course, it's always best to keep your device in a well-ventilated place to avoid overheating and to blow/vacuum dust from time to time if needed. Although this comes with Wi-Fi 6, I am currently unable to use this. However, it gives me a good reason to buy an access point that supports it. Finally, to the possibilities of video. It has two HDMI ports and a DisplayPort. The ability to instantly connect three monitors using standard connectors is a huge plus. In addition, there is a fourth display option via the USB Type-C port. The integrated Radeon Vega 8 GPU is suitable for gaming. I played Fortnite on medium settings and the gameplay was pretty smooth. I even tried it on epic settings but it was grainier and choppy than expected. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and look forward to the long life of this product.
