First of all, this is a beautiful thing. However, I purchased this as a functional item, not a work of art. I wear prescription glasses, but they're only for reading. I work in the legal field and often put my glasses on and off. I thought a glasses holder would be handy as I can take my glasses off and hang them around my neck instead of taking my glasses off completely and looking for a place to store them. When I put glasses on my head, they get tangled in my hair. The first few times my glasses fell to the floor with these holders on I was sitting at my desk so it wasn't a big deal. However, one morning my glasses fell on the floor in the break room, luckily the lenses weren't cracked or broken. The silicone mounts don't work or the strap doesn't work, they loosen with wear and eventually the temples of the glasses just slide out. I would love to love them, they fit my glasses perfectly, but I need a secure holder that I know my glasses won't slip out of.
