I bought these to replace the headphones that are always in the headband. I love that I can sleep in it when traveling and pull it over my eyes on the plane. But with the product I had, the earbuds didn't stay in place and didn't fit snugly enough around the ears, so the sound was too quiet. I tried these new ones with a windproof headband I plan to take on a hike and they worked great. They have a material on the outside that stays on the fleece inside the headband. The sound is nice and loud. You sleep comfortably in it. As a bonus, I can use them to sleep on my hikes, but I don't need the cord hanging from the headband I wear on my hikes. There is a control on the cable that pauses and plays music on my iPhone. There is no volume control. You need to set this up on your phone.
