I was looking for a speaker that I could put in my pillowcase and listen to audiobooks without disturbing my husband at night. I couldn't find what I was looking for but they work great!

I had a headband from my old sleep headphones and these replacement speakers fit well. Good sound quality. Beautiful braided cord. My speakers shorted out after 5 months. As with other devices, I had shorts where the 3.5mm plug joined the cable. I can buy a few more. Cheaper than headband and speaker replacement

Sometimes I like to hear a story before I go to bed. I have a pocket case that attaches to my pillow that holds my iPod (yes I still use it because it still works). With this unit connected to my iPod and one of the speakers tucked under a pillowcase, I can fall asleep to a podcast story (usually Selected Shorts, sometimes The Monti or The Moth) without waking my husband. I prefer loose speakers over the headband as I don't need stereo. I don't choke on cables. I don't wear a cord.

I bought these to replace the headphones that are always in the headband. I love that I can sleep in it when traveling and pull it over my eyes on the plane. But with the product I had, the earbuds didn't stay in place and didn't fit snugly enough around the ears, so the sound was too quiet. I tried these new ones with a windproof headband I plan to take on a hike and they worked great. They have a material on the outside that stays on the fleece inside the headband.
