Radio works properly. Transmission performance exceeds specifications. In terms of durability, the rubber/plastic used for the knobs came off almost immediately and you have to be careful when turning the knobs. Look at the picture, the handle belongs to the metal bar to the right of the radio. Receivers are working FB and all voice messages are 59. On the simplex I am heard and heard five miles away and I push and push the repeater almost 15 miles but the antenna is almost 30 feet up. However, the instructions are terrible. Go to "You Tube" and watch a video about programming and working. Once I programmed it properly, it was money well spent. It does everything I expect from a 2m/440 transceiver. A hidden bonus for me was that the power cord connector is the same as my Yaesu unit. I didn't have to change power cords.
