Review on Cafe Du Monde Coffee Chicory by Dave Mosby

I read about the health benefits of chicory root, which is said to be good for the digestive system and generally boosts the immune system. But I didn't want to give up my morning coffee/caffeine entirely. I bought it from Revain because I couldn't find chicory at any local grocery store or grocery store. I didn't expect it to taste anywhere near the same. good, like my freshly ground coffee. I can honestly say it's not bad at all, and a little goes a long way! I have found that I only need to use a few tablespoons for 12 cups of coffee. I wish they would just sell the chicory separately so I can decide what proportion of the coffee to use. I also had a bit of trouble opening the lid with a smooth-edged can opener. I will definitely order again.
