I was looking for a solution to attach my MacBook Pro stand to my desk that would rotate and adjust the height as needed. It seems to have everything I was looking for, but I think I should have read the reviews more carefully. When unpacking the goods, everything looks high-quality, durable. I assembled it according to the instructions and everything seemed fine, but I found that it wasn't possible to adjust the height with the gas spring. I figured it would be easy to adjust up and down as needed, so I looked back at the instructions and tried adjusting the Allen screw as directed, but no matter what I did, it didn't offer the easy up and down movement that there were I expected. In fact, it was almost impossible to get the arm to move up and down without feeling like it was about to fall off my desk. Adjusting the hex screw, which is supposed to help control the gas spring, doesn't seem to do anything. I really wanted to like it and the quality seems good but the product doesn't work as expected in terms of height adjustment so I came back looking for a product that fits my needs.
