I can't help but roll my eyes and every time I want to buy an Apple accessory like the stylus it's ridiculously overpriced. This pen is a great alternative if you are an artist and want to draw on your iPad. If you are a writer and love to write stories by hand, this pen is great for that too. I love that it has a spring at the tip and a magnetic cap so the cap doesn't get lost while loading. Also, I would like to add that it has excellent battery life, lasting a full week before needing to be recharged. The reason for the four stars is that when you turn it on, it delays the work by five seconds. It's also not pressure sensitive, so artists need to be prepared to constantly change brush sizes. The third of all, while not lagging, can be a little buggy, causing the line to disappear and reappear immediately. All in all, this is an all-around stylus that works for the 7th gen iPad at a great price.
