I can simplify why you should order this particular tree from Revain and not another. So let's get down to business. Reason #1: The best price on Revain. A factory in China produces thousands of identical Christmas trees and decorations for different companies. If you search Revain for 1000 top trees you will find that it is the same tree sold under different brands. The difference is that this one sells for just $45. Other brands sell the same for an average of $60 to $75. It's simple math, you get the same tree as other brands but you spend less money on it. Reason #2: Convenience. You no longer need to look for a place where live trees are sold at ridiculous prices. Or go through all the steps to bring one home, set up a base and deal with any bugs that have attached themselves. There is no need to buy a new tree year after year. Buy it once and then hide it away for the rest of the year until next Christmas. Reason #3: It looks great. I used artificial trees before. You're usually disappointed with how the finished product looks compared to the pictures on the box. This one actually looks a lot better than expected. Friends and family are surprised to learn how cheap it is. They usually suggest it costs $100 or more. But no, it costs less than two at a decent restaurant. WOOD ASSEMBLY: Let me be honest. When I first opened the box I was disappointed. I looked at the parts of the "tree" that looked just like fluffy sticks and my heart sank. I thought it just couldn't look natural. But then I connected the posts and plugged them into the base. Then I realized how many branches and needles can be torn off the main pole in each bundle. And it started to make sense to me. It takes an hour to just "fluff" it. Yes, the product description says 30 minutes. No, it doesn't go that fast unless two people are working on it at the same time. Or if you are not in a hurry. If you want to do it right, just put on Christmas music or TV, sit down and start swinging. The great thing about the pole and base is that I could easily rotate the tree while I worked to fluff it up. I just rotated it like I did in each section, I didn't even have to get up to get to the top. Your best bet is to tip a few mini branches back towards the main pillar of the tree, some up, some down, some to the left, some to the right. One would think there would be a lot of open space, but there isn't. Not if you pay attention to the fact that the branches are inclined in different directions. If you hang the tree in the corner of the room, you don't have to worry about the "back" of the tree either. And pull these branches so that they are more visible on the sides and fluff them up well. It took me about an hour to fluff well. I didn't care about the effort. And I will never have to do it again as I can fluff it up in about 5-10 minutes every Christmas in the future. LIGHT LENGTH: I bought a set of lights from Dollar General for only eight dollars ("Assorted Miniature Christmas Lights, 200 Carats"). Length 42 meters. I assumed the length would be appropriate for a tree of this size and luckily I was right. You could probably get by with 20-30 foot lights if you just threaded them down the front half of the tree. But I have full coverage with 42 feet. So if you want to add lighting to the tree, more than 40 feet of garland should be fine. JEWELRY: Jewelry is decent. Our little girl helped me with this step which was a lot of fun. The lamps are plastic rather than glass which was a relief. Flasks break, there is no escape. I knew our daughter would probably drop a few. I knew cats in particular would try to hit them. Knowing they wouldn't shatter on tiny, razor-sharp shards of glass everywhere was a relief. I needed that rest. A handful of round lightbulbs of various kinds had no cords. There are so many ornaments that there is not much difference. I'm used to old school flimsy metal clasps in jewelry. Our daughter's rope seemed to make it easier to hang her up. The only thing I didn't really like was the way the rope was attached to the little wooden figures. Stars, stockings and bells (which our little girl amusingly assumed were Taco Bell decorations). Each small piece of wood has a very thin metallic silver cord with a loop. But for some parts it is very closely related to the ornament itself. So basically they don't talk much. You have enough space to maybe attach a string to the top of a branch, that's all. This is not a breach of contract. But the manufacturer could definitely improve the position of the knots on the suspension cords. The decoration made of a wooden disc will attract attention. For some reason the manufacturer included a Star of David as a decoration. No, that is not the Star of Bethlehem. It's pretty obvious that it's a Jewish icon. Which suits me 100%. I just found it funny that the maker didn't realize it wasn't a Christmas picture. To fully decorate the Christmas tree, the little girl and I spent 20-30 minutes without haste. We only ever made one type of ornament at a time. So we could just make big shiny balls, then medium shiny red onions, then wooden stars, etc. You can follow how they're distributed. The end result was great. We turned off the lights and everyone had a chance to stand on the sidelines and admire our work. You would never guess that you are looking at a complete set that costs less than fifty dollars. After sweeping up some plastic pine needles (you'll get a handful, not a lot), I added a tree skirt. It looks beautiful and we had a lot of fun putting it together. Is it possible to find the best artificial Christmas tree? I'm sure you could. Three times more expensive. But why spend more when it does the job perfectly? Order It. You have $45. Why put off any longer? Add it to your cart. Then check. If you have Prime, it will likely be at your doorstep in just two days. So you still have time to order it for Christmas and set it up in just a few days. Not a bad deal when you can turn a $45 investment into million dollar memories with your family, so buy it today.
