My important documents are kept in a safe but all the envelopes are worn, crumbling and getting old. I chose this fireproof document pouch to organize and protect my important documents. The product arrived in plastic with no markings. There are only two items in the package, the main bag and the document bag. What strikes me immediately is how durable the outer material of this bag is. It has a special coating that resembles rubber. Everyone can easily see that the outer material is waterproof. I tried putting some water on it and it just bounced off. The inner material is normal nylon, just like any other luggage bag. The zipper looks secure but is not waterproof. The combination zip lock is a useful feature to keep kids from messing around. In this bag I was able to store and organize all my important documents such as birth certificates, passports, land and property titles, car documents, recent tax returns, diplomas, etc. The size of the bag is suitable for almost all documents. Also, I have very old legal documents that use very long paper, I need to bend them a bit. Mesh pockets come in handy for storing social security cards, passport, credit cards, etc. The extra document pocket is a nice addition, but until I need it I can stock it with some cash for rainy days. Overall, this document case is very functional. I like the material it's made of. Feels very durable and can protect documents from environmental influences. Highly recommended.
