I don't do quilting in my family so I'm relying on my wife's enthusiastic comments when I used this marker to write this (as it was a small gift from me , the positive feedback was very well received!). The thin wheel and the smooth flow of chalk resulting in a fine and precise line are two of the most frequently mentioned characteristics of this pen. She found it comfortable to hold, although the marker isn't used like a regular pen for long periods of time, so perhaps that observation doesn't matter much. The only thing we found was that we had to take advantage of the different colors on offer: chalk paint worked well for them depending on the color of the fabric. Yellow on yellow never catches the eye! The cost seems a bit high, but she thinks the marker's performance justifies it.
