Used with Blue Yeti. Also with the help of a sound absorbing device. Plastic, not a Blue Yeti cushioning product. The plastic product cost around $20, so the purchase seemed reasonable and fit the bill. There are no problems, no one notices the noise of the keyboard. This manipulator is sooooo much better than the one that came with the Blue Yeti. There is no comparison. This hand is well made, strong and stays where it was placed. It doesn't "float" away like an old hand when you let go. Also, the 2 arm segments are slightly longer than the cheap arm. I read somewhere that the size of each segment is 19 inches. For my setup, this brought the mic closer to my mouth. It has a much longer "range" than the old mount. The clamp on the base is reliable and easy to use. handy "ear" for tightening screws and attaches well to the work surface. The only downside is very, very minor. For my setup, the plastic part is not fixed very well. The wire inside causes the piece of plastic to come loose at the end. Very easy to attach with a short piece of double sided velcro wrapped around this piece. "Maybe a thinner and more flexible USB cable will solve the problem? Such a minor issue, I just didn't bother to experiment around. Very happy with product. Worthy of all stars".
