The actual product is a lollipop expander that simply plugs into the bottom USB port of the Switch dock. It even has an on/off button. So it doesn't need to be activated just because it's connected to the network (that's my favorite part). There are four ports for connecting 2 pairs of Joy-Cons, plus the pair already connected to your Switch. As soon as the Joy-Con is connected, the indicator color changes from green to red. It would be nice if there was a click so you know for sure it's connected, but the light will let you know. The side also has these slots for storing game cartridges. The games fit nicely and don't move too much even when I pick them up and move them around! Overall I'm very happy with this little gadget, especially for the price! It's very affordable and way more practical than I expected! I love it!
