The scissors arrived on time. I really liked the packaging. If I were to gift the scissors to someone, they would already be in a nice box with a brass Exacto knife as an accessory. It was worth the price I paid and the scissors were oiled and sharpened. The blades are connected with a brass nut and set of screws. When the time comes, they can be expertly sharpened to last for decades. I'm left-handed, but for many years I've had to cut with scissors for my right hand. This is a pair of right hand scissors. If you're left-handed and interested in comfort, there's some kind of soft plastic or rubber grommets on the handles that make it more comfortable and easier to handle.
