I bought this lens to decide if I wanted to invest in a professional 85mm prime lens. Included. Cons: The description says it needs a 72mm filter. Upon opening the box, I found that the actual lens filter diameter is 55mm. The cover that attaches to the lens accepts a 72mm filter. If the lens has a 55mm filter, the cover will not be attached. There is no mention of dust and moisture seals, so most likely none. Pros: It takes razor-sharp photos. If you are new to photography, this lens will help you understand f-number as you can see the change in aperture when the lens is removed from the camera. I love the nostalgic feel of a fully manual lens. An unexpected benefit of a fully manual lens, the camera's battery life seems to last much longer.

Pros
  • MANUAL SUPER SMOOTH FOCUS. Since this lens contains no electronics, the mechanics of the focusing ring are smooth and precise. High precision tactile control delivers crystal clear images from up to 2.8ft away.
