My grandchildren tell me that shipping things on CD-R's is old school since their netbooks don't have a drive to play them. I buy well-known brands of flash drives (same name as my computer), but I really liked this smaller (2 gigabyte) drive in the bulk pack. That's why I ordered them. At first I was concerned that the red light would come on when inserted, but that's a normal light. My computer OS is Windows 7, it seemed to work pretty fast with this flash drive. I copied a fairly large number of files with pictures and movies in a short time, a little over a gigabyte in total. All is well! I will order these again!
