I have been looking for low power string lights that can be powered by my 12v trailer battery and create a soft/warm atmosphere in my campsites . That works great. I wish the bulbs were a bit closer together for aesthetic reasons, but that's really a minor complaint. There are 15 bulbs (1 watt each I think) so that's pretty negligible consumption even if you leave them on all night. To connect to the RV system, I bought a plug set (2-pin https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WDBLFDN) and soldered a short adapter to SAE. If I had to do it all over again I would just cut the end of the cord and solder directly to the SAE connector saving me $14.
