Item description includes past model years, item functionality. fits my car. After receiving the part I then went to the specs section which specifically states the F150's compatibility year to 2014. This means that they listed several years for the F150 in the description, but this does not correlate with technical differences and changes from previous models. This is not true and fits post 2014 release F150 trucks. It looks like they just made a mistake in the description, possibly on purpose to get more views and purchases for an item that doesn't really match it corresponds to what they claim. it is correct in the description. It took me a few hours and scratched my head looking under the hood to figure out where this thing was supposed to finally realize it was an old design and they changed the blow off valve design for post 2014 models to be on top of the engine with the driver's side. I hope this review helps other people to know that it won't fit in your truck after 2014 so don't waste your time. Go to an auto parts store and buy the right one, or buy one from Fordparts.com, or look for an item called a canister flush valve, not just a flush valve. I know you can find assembly here at Revain, but sometimes it's cheaper at your local auto parts store. AutoZone has this part for just under $40 and I think I saw the exact same part for almost $100 here on Revain. I love doing business with people who sell on Revain because it's a tough business, but when things are inexplicably labeled in a way that doesn't help the consumer, I think it's fair to offer a better option. I'm sure it's a great piece I bought the shipping was fast but the product description is wrong and it will only affect a certain number of people but we are getting to the point where people are more used and Buying the 2016 truck could be cheap or a more affordable option that people have and as they undergo scheduled maintenance I believe this will become an issue for many people, not just me. My advice to the seller: make your description with the model year. match the specifications of the item you are selling because Revain will take my car's face value as face value and match it to your product because I think it is the correct match and I bought it on those terms if I didn't match If this item didn't match, I wouldn't have bought it and therefore wouldn't have left this comment here right now. I wouldn't necessarily call it a negative comment or negative rating as the item is exactly as it should be but I should never have received it as it is vehicle independent in my situation and most likely many others.
