Seem to be good knee pads but as I bought the wrong size for my granddaughter and then returned her without them I have no real experience with them. She often has a subluxation of the patella. The sleeve has a circular weave where it should sit on the patella which seems like a nice feature. Average measures 6 7/16 inches at top (lays flat and folds in half). The small size was 6 1/8 inches at the top. The seller seems to have excellent customer service and emailed me with good information after the sale. They made the return very easy.
